Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
My former landlord has knowingly placed fraudulent information on my credit report. I already filed a dispute with the Credit Bureau but the landlord refused to remove it. I've called the landlord numerous times since February 2010 and none of my calls have been returned. I even visited his place of business three times and each time he wasn't present. Is there anything that I can do legally to get this debt removed?

You may have a claim against your former landlord for slander of credit. You probably want to speak with an attorney to send a letter to the former landlord to fix your credit and if that does not work than you might need to file suit to get it fixed.
