Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
My lawn needs to be replaced. Received a written estimate from a Sod Service for $4980.00 (8300 sq ft). He measured my property to determine estimate for replacing my lawn. My concern is, based on another incident in our community, after he removes my old lawn and starts installing the new sod he tells me that the 8300 sq ft of sod he estimated will not be enough to complete my lawn and an additional charge of say, $1500.00 is needed to complete the job. Is this legal?

You need to make sure that you have a tight agreement that says that if he is off he will make up the difference without charge to you. Want to know the law without going to law school?
