Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Lawyer quitting case in the middle of lawsuit
If I am in a lawsuit and my attorney decides to quit because I ask him too many questions is he able to do that and if he does can he be sued for money paid since the lawsuit is not going to be finished by him and all money and paperwork is no good to me if we can't finish the lawsuit?

Re: Lawyer quitting case in the middle of lawsuit
If your case is in litigation, the lawyer will have to make application to the court to be relieved as your attorney. It will be done with notice to you. At that time you may present your objections. The judge will make a determination.
