Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I leased a piece of furniture from a company. I was called out of town on a family emergency so the account became past due to the amount of a mere 89.00. I contacted the asst. manager explained the situation and was told he would get back to me as to whether they would want to retrieve the chair or just let me bring it current. While awaiting his reply I returned home only to find that very day the company entered my home without anyone there or permission and retrieved the chair. It was there property but they illegally entered my home. What is my legal recourse?
