Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Hi I would like to know if there is any legal action against a person who served as intermediary in the installation of hurricane shutters in my home, the shutters were installed two years ago perfectly but the key to perform the action lock-unlock in case of an emergency was never delivered. So it means I am unable to use them. The only evidence I have is the information my bank can provide with the check I paid. The concept of the check shows shutters and the beneficiary was him. Is that proof enough to achieve some legal action? After waiting so long and many calls made I think I need a far higher pressure! I feel truly powerless.

Intermediary? The company sent him out there and they are responsible even if he was an independent contractor. Have you written a demand letter? It might be best to have an attorney write one for you.
