Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
License contractor wrongfully suing
Please help,
A contractor provided poor workmanship by installing an A/C unit backwards which poses a tripping hazard. He was reported to the city of Lake Worth, and licensing board. He obtain a civil trial attorney and is trying to sue for slander!
He also installed the vents improperly. Lent is being trapped in the exhaust vent. Isn't this a fire hazard? Please email me if you want to see the pictures.
Any Advice will be appreciated.

Re: License contractor wrongfully suing
Truth is an absolute defense. Seek counsel and defend. You may have a claim for abuse of process as well as for the damages necessitated for repair of the dangerous conditions created by the contractor
