Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I have lived in a camp ground in Florida for the past 1.5 years. I abide by the rules of the camp ground, including some that are rules for me only, such as I am not allowed to get mail out of mail box. This campground has a pet policy that all animals are to be leashed or chained up. No animal is to be outside without the owner being outside. No pets over 30lbs. My do is 17 pounds, never outside without me and always leashed when outside. In the past 4 weeks my dog has been attacked by other dogs in the campground. Since I lived here he has been attacked 5 times. I asked the owner to please enforce her pet policy. She told me she would not, that she does not run this place the campers do. She just owns it. I would have to confront the dogs owners and work it out. I stated ok I will just call animal control and they will take care of it. She informed me if I did that she would call the sheriff's office and have me removed on the spot, and that since this is a problem for me, you are now considered a trouble maker and I want you to move out. I can't afford to move right now and don't know what to do, is there any legal thing I can do?

You are not obligated to stay, and if you don't have a lease, the owner is not obligated to let you stay. You only have 2 choices:
1. Stay and figure out how to keep your dog safe, and get along with the other campers and the owner, OR
2. Move out.
Since you can't afford option 2, you may need to keep your dog inside. It is legal for you to call animal control or other officials to enforce local leash laws, but this doesn't seem to bring about your desired effect, which is to stay in the campground.
