Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Merchandise Sent, Not Recieved
Customer ordered merchandise through ebay. He sent me a check for $2,080. I cashed it. My wife sent the merchandise uninsured. He says he never recieved it. I say he did. He is accusing me of trying to con him. I offered to return his money but the reason I sold the merchandise was to buy more merchandise. I packed my credit cards and used the cash to buy the merchandise before he complaint. Now I can not sell the merchandise I bought and get my money back since I bought it with other people as an investment. Can I repay the buyer on a monthly basis? Can sue me?

Unless you can prove delivery, you are on the hook. Try to make a deal with the buyer.
