Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
minor hits security gate in neighborhood
My minor child hit our neghborhood security gate as she was exciting. The repair company billed the HOA $1438 for the repair. Can this be filed with the auto insurance company or does the HOA carry insurance to cover such accidents?

She hit it, she is responsible. Hopefully, your insurance will cover it.

The HOA will either contact its insurance co and then it will contact your auto insurer or the HOA will contact you for your auto insurance to pay for gate. Either way, you are responsible as owner of car.
