Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

misdelivered package

I odered something online for my children for Christmas. Opened it and it did not work. Got an rma. took awhile to figure out return shipping. got the address (in CA.), shipped it back to them via fedex. Fedex wrote to wrong address down, one that doesn't exist. It was insured, I filed a claim, claim denied. Say it was delivered. Found out there are several businesses in the same building it was delivered to. I was not given a suite number. I'm not sure who has the package, but now I am stuck with almost $300 in the product and shipping charges. the company I bought it from almost never gets back to me. Should I call the companies in the building? After waiting for fedex and the company I bought the product from, it has been a long time since it was delivered on Jan 19th. I am unsure if there is any recourse i could take with this. I'm about at my wits end over this, but it isn't fair to me to lose $300, afterall I did everything that was asked of me. Thank you in advance.

This is a difficult situation. Even if you get a judgment, collecting can be very difficult. Contact me if you want to go over the options.
