Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Misinformed by car dealer
Went to purchase a car two weeks ago, was told that everything is ok now they are calling from the dealership saying that I need a co signer.
I had deposited $2000 and had tinted the windows for $120 and was told that I would not get my money back.
What can I do?

A deal is a deal. If there were no contingencies to the purchase, you own the car and do not have to do anything else. If this was a used car, it might be an attempt at what we call a "Yo-Yo" sale. These are illegal.
Look at all your paper work. See a consumer lawyer if necessary.

Go get your money back. If the contract does not require a cosigner, then you do not need it.
