Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Mobile home purchase contract

My mother in law signed a contract to purchase a double wide on thursday May 17th and gave the business a $10,000.00 deposit. Over the week-end it was discovered the business has less than ethical business practices and she decided to cancel the contract and continue to look for a home. On Monday May 21st she contacted the salesman to cancel the contract and was informed he had already gotten a cashiers check to replace her personal check and the deal was done. If she wanted to cancel the contract she could but she was not getting her money back. My question is: does she have any legal recourse against this business? Is there a time period in which a buyer has the right to review a contract before it is legally binding? Please help. I'm afraid she is going to lose $10,000.00 or have to live in a house that is inferior in workmanship. Total price of house is $60,000.00. Thank you for your help.

You should contact a lawyer directly and that person can review the contract and provide you with options.
