Mortgage Information
can private citizens get credit/mortgage information on other individuals without their consent? My ex-wife is telling me what my mortgage amount is, who holds it etc and I want to know if she obtained this information from a public source or would she have had to use my personal information without my concent

It's public record. The mortgage and note will be recorded in the county where the property is located. If you type into google, your county and property records, you will be probably be brought to the site. Usually, but not always, these records are maintained by the clerk of court recording division.
