Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Neighbor hired a tree company and they used my carport, while I wasn't home and without my permission, to remove a very large tree from the neighbor property. A heavy crane they used caused about 10k in damages to my driveway, spanning its entire length. Cannot drive a low vehicle on the driveway and the damages are also creating tripping hazards. Tree cutter and crane owner claim the neighbor gave them permission to use MY driveway and are not responsible. Neighbor is uncooperative.
Could somebody please provide me advise on what I should do to get my driveway repaired (I don't want to go through my insurance)? Thank you

Your neighbors homeowner's policy should cover this. If neighbor is uncooperative, you will need a lawyer to write the appropriate letters. Crane company is also liable, regardless of whether they had "permission" or not, and their insurance company will need to be contacted as well.
