Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Payoff
I purchased a 2009 automobile from a Hyundai dealership July 27, 2008. They have not paid off my existing car loan as of yet. I am 60 days delinquent and my credit is tarnished due to their negligence. If I were to apply for additional credit, I couod be denied or forced to pay higher interest rates because the dealership has not paid off the ither loan. Are there any legal actions regarding this issue?

Re: Payoff
Yes, you can sue them for breaching their agreement to purchase your car. Damages could include harm to your credit, including increases in the amount you'll have to pay for future credit.
