Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Pre Owned Car
I purchased a pre owned car from a new/used dealer. We signed the contract and took the car home. A week later the dealer called and said that we had to come back and do a new contract because they were having problems getting the financing that they anticipated. The new contract would be a significantly higher monthly payment and also require a large down payment that was not required before. Do I have any rights or do I have to sign the new contract or give the vehicle back?

Re: Pre Owned Car
It depends on what your first contract says happens in the event that the financing falls through. read it carefully.
