Purchase of a Dog
A deposit was placed on a dog in St. Augustine, FL. There was no legal agreement stating that the deposit could not be returned. Are we legally entitled to our deposit back?

It depends on what the agreement (contract) says. In the absence of a written agreement, then it depends on what the judge would determine was the agreement after hearing testimony on the issue.
