Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
we purchased a used car we think there may be something wrong with it.Do we have anytime amount of grace period to get out of the contract and get our down payment back?

Take it back to the dealership immediately, for an evaluation. There should be some sort of reasonable warranty. You need to read your documents from the dealer. If you purchased this from a private owner, you purchased it "as is", unless you can prove that the seller knew of a problem and intentionally defrauded you. Your question points out the reason why used car purchasers should make their contract subject to an evaluation of the vehicle by a licensed mechanic of the buyer's choice, BEFORE money changes hands.
