Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I purchased furniture from a local store, paid for it by credit card, they ordered the pieces I wanted. I picked them up at the store when they arrived and now I can't use them because they don't fit in the space I had. I want to return them but the store says they can't take them back because it was a special order.
Nothing on their papers say "final sale" or "no returns" or anything. They were very expensive and I have no use for them. They agreed to put them in the store, and "if" they sell they will then give me what they sell for. Is this legal?

Yes. You bought it. They ordered it. It is not their fault that you did not measure the space correctly. They are being extremely generous.
