Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I purchased my home in The Villages, FL in July 2006. I did not move in until September 2006. The summer of 2007 our area had a severe drought. No relief occurred until late fall. In 2008, according to all experts, landscapers, lawn service, and a gutter installer, said due to the elevation of my property I had a drainage problem. At that point, I called The Villages Warranty Office and was told to regulate my sprinkler with my neighbors. In the summer (2009) of this very rainy year, I contacted The Villages Warranty Office again. The office manager and the construction & design manager agreed I had a problem. They sent 3 landscapers out who also agreed I had a problem. I had estimates quoted over the phone for $850-$3800. I asked for these estimates and letters from The Warranty Office clarifying what they had observed. It has been one month and I have had no response. Other than getting a survey, and an attorney, what options do I have
