Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

We purchased a used RV, 2004, 21000 miles, with no warranty, and were told they would fix anything wrong at the tme of purchase. We could not drive the RV for approx. 5 weeks while waiting for them to fix a broken side mirror. The first time we drove the RV, the rear brakes went out. It turned out to be due to bad brake sensors, which led to the brakes failing. It cost us over $2600 total to have it fixed. Shouldn't the dealer be held liable for the repairs since we had not been able to drive the RV prior to this and we only drove 50 miles before the brakes went out ?

As with everything today, look to see if it was covered in your agreement. Look at the paper work. If no warranty or not in the agreement, then you may have a problem. Sorry.
