Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
question about file ownership
For the past 2 years I hired the services of a consultant that I paid in full for her services. She is an immigration clerk and notary public, upon my requesting all my paperwork back in my posssesion she refuses and claim to have ownership of my file by law. Is this true? I suggested signing a document releasing her of any legal liabilty upon her giving me back my file, and she ask me to leave her offices
