Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

I recd a notice of pretrial conference for 5/13/13. The issue pertains to an unsecured laon i had with Capital One. The loan was taken out in 2007, if I recall correctly. Last payment made was in Dec 2010. Loan was sold to another creditor in Feb 2011. I am being sued for $3700 plus interest & fees. I was told by a friend to look in the statute of limitations, but I dont think it applies in this case. Does it? I dont know how much the debt was sold for. I need to know how to help myself in this situation. I dont have any extra money now but need to know how to negotiate, what do I do? Should I call the atty now to see if he is willing to work out something? Any help you can give is appreciated

You should contact a consumer lawyer in your area. Most of us have never lost a case to a credit card company, and our fees are modest because we seek fees from the credit card company. See www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com
