Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I received a default judgement against the defendant in my case because of no show! Do I have to pay the debt? That was my reason for filing a civil case against the defendant for not providing the service in our contract. I am making the payments because I do not want a judgement filed against me and be reported to collections and have my credit ruin. Please tell me what I can do on my own because I cannot afford to pay an attorney!

If you obtained the default, you won. Do not pay.
