Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
ive recently decided to puchase a vehicle from a dealership. after speaking with the representative i was told that because the car was at their sister site that i would need to put a down payment on the vehicle and once it arrived i could then look over the vehicle and decide if i want to go further and sign a contract. i put $2000 down for the car and was told that it should arrive within 2-3 dys. well its been a month and no vehicle. after many phone calls and 2 wks of getting the runaround, i decided that i didnt even want the vehicle and requested that i be reimbursed. ive recently found out that the car still hasnt arrived, they were just lying to me. the representative told me that it would be no problem to reimburse me and that the process takes 3-5 business days. well its been more than 3-5 bus dys and no check. ive called numerous times and all they keep telling me is that the check was processed but no one can tell me where it is and they act like they dont have the resources to track it, IF the check was mailed. what can i do?
