Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Hi, I recently went on a trip to Miami Beach, Florida. A few friends and I rented a condo, when we get to South Beach we learn that the condo was double booked. The person we booked with did not answer the calls. We spent that night at the hotel and the next day we rented another condo. That was New Years. We had paid 50% to book the condo was double booked, now I'm getting the run around and not getting my money. What can I do?

It is unclear whether the other person showed up ot not. If they did not and you just left, you will have a problem. If they did show up and you had to leave, file suit.
