Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Refund
I made an appointment with an artist to have my portrait done. I gave him half down $700. I cancelled my first appointment and rescheduled. I had to cancel my second appointment. I wanted to reschedule and now he is refusing to do my portrait and will not give me a refund - just a store credit. I did not have a contract with him. How do I get my money back.

Unfortunately, you will have to take him to small claims court. there are forms at the county court accomplish this.
