Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Self Renewing contracts
My home security monitoring company has in it's contract a self renewing clause stating that they will automatically renew a contract if a 30 day notice is not provided prior to contract expieration. Can a contract continue to be renewed like this. The company will not release us for any reasons because of this clause in the contract.

Re: Self Renewing contracts
yes, a contract can self renew. You can cancel, however, with the 30 day notice provision.
