Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Hi, I rented Convertible Car @ Miami for a day from reputed Car Agency. On way to KeyWest with my family/kid, we realized after we opened top, there were innumerable Ants all around. We stopped and called Customer Care, they had no option but asked me to drive back.But driving back with Ants was not good option. So all this led to me cancelling my itinerary/GAS/Rental Expense/ Health issues for my kid/Hotel Expense etc. Now After mail chain for nearly a month, they are trying to refund $20 and want to close the issue. I feel am cheated and they have no concern about Customers. I did record Video and shared with them. So my question is how can I take it legal with them ? [email protected]

Whether or not you have valid legal claims for damages against the rental car company is going to come down to the terms stated in the contract/agreement that you signed when you rented the vehicle.
