Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
While repairing a 2003 dryer, I damaged the customer's 2005 washer. I have repaired both items but the customer is claiming that cosmetically she is not happy with the repair and wants me to give her a new washer and dryer. I say I am obligated to only the value of the items at the time of the damage. She says she entitled to new. Please advise. Florida state

She is not entitled to a new washer, but at best the fair market value of it. However, the cosmetic argument seems specious. Where is this washer that it would be so offensive to the eye?
