can a repo man threaten me with arrest even though I don't have the motorcycle a friend does who has been making the payments but fell behind. I gave them her info

If you obstruct the law, or interfere with a lawful repossession, you may be subject to action by the police. It is unlikely that the repo man has the power to arrest you himself, but may have been warning you to not get in the middle.

Repo man is not a cop and he cannot break the law.
