Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I rescued 9 pups, im selling them for $25 each with first set of shots and worming. I dont want to increase the cost of the pup so that way they can find homes faster, do i have to have a health guarantee, and a vet check? Can i be held liable if the pup dies when it seems healthy when it leaves? I want to help them, but I cant afford for any legal actions brought against me, i just didnt want to see them die because the ppl that did own them moved away and left them.

You are a good person for rescuing these animals. Now go do the right thing and take them to the nearest animal shelter so that they can be evaluated by a veterinarian and treated for worms, get shots, and provide for spaying and neutering. People who want to buy an animal "cheap" are not the sort of people who are willing to spend the money that it costs to raise and care for a dog, long term. Animal Shelters have professional staff who can identify the best adopters who will provide a "forever home" to these animals. Animal rights laws and lawyers have become much more agressive in prosecuting "puppy mills" and persons who breed and/or sell animals without regard to their health or future care. It is not worth what little money you would receive from the sale of these animals for the risk involved for both you and them. If you need help to find a shelter, call me. If you need help in transporting these pups to a shelter for adoption by responsible people, I will help you. Please do not just sell these animals to persons you have no way of checking out for suitabiltiy to adopt.
