Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Reservation cancellations
I had a reservation with a company and had to cancel. I never got a refund so I asked why and they responded with;
Cancellations or changes made before 04:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time (US &
Canada)) on 02/14/2008 are subject to a 100% Cost of Stay penalty.
It was my understanding that they had implied a cancellation on the 14th would be non-refundable. Is their policy incorrectly stated? Shouldn't it be worded to clearly state before the 14th?

Re: Reservation cancellations
Sounds like you are out of luck under the cancellation policy. You should have asked about this at the time of cancellation.
