Restitution

My dad had bought into a ''Business Oppurtunity'' in Fl. June 2006. It was with my husband & my $14,000.00 and was to help while my husband went to school. These individuals scammed us and are currently, awaiting trial (Global Resources, Inc) What do we need to do to get restitution? We live in Wa.

YOu still may have a claim against the company and its directors for the money you lost even if they are awaiting a criminal trial. Feel free to call or e-mail me if you have any questions.

You can sue them. It sounds like they were scamming from many, though, so you will not be alone. Usually scamers don't have any money to pay those they steal from.
