Returning a purchase

I purchased a product with a fifteen day return policy.

I evaluated and returned the product within the fifteen days, and now the company has provided a legal document with a nondisclosure agreement that they want me to sign before they will process a refund.

I am curious whether the company has the right to add this requirement after the purchase, and what my options might be.
