Robbed at a mall while shopping
last july 25th we were visiting the Dolphin mall at Miami.
While shopping our car window was being broken, and the thiefs stole from the trunk our passports, credit cards, money, camera, and many other things.
The mall security did nothing, we told them we saw this suspicious young guy wearing a black hat, no one stills trunks all over he saw us. (our car had a one after everything happened.)
We spent about 700 hundred dollars at the Dolphin Mall and we were going to shop more if anything of this would happened.
They have so many cameras, and security guards that do just nothing, I can't beleive a window is broken, a seat pulled down, a suit case cuted and taken out, and they are just making jokes.
I found unfair that all they did is let us use the phone, and I think that what happened to us is just a result of some people not doing their job right which is protect the consumers.
I felt that the mall has to respond for their consumers, the security is paid by the stores where the conumers like us buy things.
I think they have to pay us back, for not doing their job, ''Taking care of the consumers''

A mall has the responsibility to warn of dangers that it knows of or should know of. I am sure that you are not the first victim of the mall, and it is more than probable that the mall has insurance for such events. But the question is what is the value of what was taken, stolen, or damaged from you. Did you make any formal complaints with the mall?
