Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Sale of animal
I sold a purebread dog to an individual. It is 10 days later and she is saying that the dog has ear infection and claws need surgery because they are too long. Before I sold the dog, I took him to the vet and got his rabies shot and license renewed. As far as I knew he was in good health and had no problems. She is now wanting her money back or wants to take me to court. I am not a breeder, just an individual. What recourse do I have? I do not want the dog back and as far as I am concerned he was sold as is.
