Where does a sellers responsibility end?

I'm a seller on Ebay and I live in FL. I sold a pair of 2007 Kennedy halves to a customer in Phoenix, AZ. I had some initial concerns about this customer so when I shipped the coins I included delivery confirmation.

The buy claims he never received the coins, but the delivery confirmation states that they were delivered. Now he is threatening to sue me.

It's also important to note that over the course of emails that I have received from him a few have had modifications making it look like I said things that I didn't.

As a seller, where do I stand?

You have a receipt for delivery, so you should be fine. the proof of the buyer changing e-mails, when you have retained the originals will also help. It is unlikely that he can obtain personal jurisdiction over you in AZ, so most likely he would need to travel to florida to sue you.
