Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
My son had the electric turned on in our new apartment in his name. He has never had electric with Lakeland Electric before. The electric company sent him a letter today that stated they were going to shut his electric off in 10 days if he did not pay an outstanding bill that I have with them. Can they do this???

It sounds like the may have made a mistake, but it's hard to say based on the information you've provided. Your son should contact the electric company.
