Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Status Conference
A person filed for a restraining order against me but I was not served. The judge has set a conference status in three months. Do I need a lawyer? What does that mean?

Re: Status Conference
You are not required to have a lawyer, although certainly it would be best to have one. Whether you can handle this without a lawyer and the possible consequences of an adverse decision on the restraining order are not apparent from your post. You should show up for the conference, however.
