Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
swimming pool construction
I just had a pool built, the builder has made the pool smaller and shaped wrong according to scetch, lied about property setback distance, that in turn made it much smaller than discussed with him. The bottom cracked severely and in re-doing, now looks terrible and de-formed, built a flat roof extension on to house that after several attempts to silicone leaks, still leaks in numerous places,no pitch on roof will not let it run off properly, and i find out that he had no permit for roof. Installed skimmer on back walkway and mounted screen enclosure on top of lid! i complained so he cut lid in half, finally he then put sreen out around skimmer(looks ridicules) back walkway is not wide enough to walk on and is dangerous for anyone to go near. pop up self cleaner will not work right and shoots the pop up head out of the retainer.Turning on the lights creates a loud power surge noise, heatpump unit vibrates inside the house, never finished painting the deck that has small cracks in it,took my $48,000 and has not returned.also other lies. I feel the only way to make it right is tear out and start over, i called one local attorney, he did not want to hear all the issues and basically said that would never happen. Please advise.Thank you
