Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Transfered Extended Maintenance Agreement Paid but not Honored
I bought in April a used 2000 BMW from a non-BMW car dealer.
I found in the glove compartment a ''BMW Full Maintenance Program Upgrade Agreement'' together with Invoice and credit card receipt that was purchased by the original owner from the BMW dealership that sold the car to him (dated December 2002). The warranty covers the car, not the buyer, therefore is fully transferable.
The same day I bought the car, I took it to a BMW dealer who said that the Agreement does not appear in the BMW system.
I contacted BMW through e-mail and after not getting any answer, called them and I was told that there is nothing they can do.
I contacted the BMW dealership and left messages over a period of one month or more. My calls were never returned.
In the meantime I have been paying out of pocket for maintenance that would have been covered under the Maintenance Contract.
What are my legal claims/rights?
Thank you.

Without reading the warranty agreement it is not possible to provide a reliable reply.
