Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
no waiver needed to be signed re: cremains
in America, a funeral home rep thought the child (next-of-kin) said ''i waive my rights to my parents funeral arrangements and disposition.'' based on that misunderstanding, although nothing was signed, the funeral home went on with the plans made by another relative. wouldn't you think a signed waiver would be required, so as not to act on a misunderstanding?

It would be better but probably not required.
