Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Walmart filled a prescription for me. They failed to charge me, did not notify me. I checked my bank records and noticed the amount deducted from my card and realized they didn't charge me.
I now called for my refill and they informed me that until I pay the "outstanding balance" they will not refill my prescription.
Is this legal?
They failed to charge me, didn't notify me and now, essentially they are holding my prescription "hostage".
Please advise

They can sue you for the RX. Unjust enrichment. Get real and pay the bill.
