Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

warranty claim settlement

I am waiting on a warranty claim check, is there a time frame for the company to send the check?? Its been 9 months since they said I should receive payment within 2 or 3 months. I feel I have been too patient? Is there any way to get them to send payment??

Re: warranty claim settlement

keep calling; keep writing; keep bugging them.

9 months is way too late.

If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

I do not believe that there is any statutory timeframe for a payment to be made. That being said, nine months is way too long.

I would write a demand letter and send it by certified mail. If that does not work, depending on the amount of the claim, it may be time to hire an attorney to intervene on your behalf.
