Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Yesterday my girlfriend's car was repossessed. My name was on the loan agreement. During the repossession, the owner of the dealership got very rude with her and did not allow her to retrieve all of her belongings from the vehicle. She was told that she had only seven days to recover her property. This is difficult to do seeing as how she no longer has her own mode of transportation. I am also concerned that if she goes down there that she may be subject to more verbal abuse or intimidation. I would take care of this myself but I live a pretty good distance from the dealership. What do you suggest?
