Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

In 1975 my father was severely injured in an auto accident in Georgia. In 1979 he sued the guy(s) who caused the accident and was awarded a judgment of over $1,000,000. The defendant did not have insurance! So my father's uninsured motorist insurance paid him a small settlement (+/- $50K). In 1984 my father died, having never collected anything else. My questions: Is it possible for me to collect on this judgment at this time? How?

The judgment has probably expired, but that would be a matter of Georgia law. The estate could collect, if the judgment is still good and if the person has anything that can be executed on. That, too, is a matter of Georgia law.
