Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I am 1st lien holder on truck title I sold to A FRIEND- for him to use truck for work I signed over title with me as lien holder now two years later he has only paid 1/3 of what we agreed to of course being friends I took him on his word no paperwork other than title. I mean he worked for me so at first he paid when all the work dried up so did my pay Question am I stuck waiting to see if one day he wants to use the title for trade in or sell or do I have other options.

Given no paperwork spelling out rights, you seem to be limited to a law suit for falling to pay on the loan.
