Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

In 2005 I had a vehicle repossessed from Santander Corp. I have not heard anything back from them since the vehicle was taken. I just received a call from a company called CRS & Associates telling me that a law suit was going to be filed and my wages would be garnished if I cannot come up with 6K by Friday. Is this legal?????

No and do not pay one dime. If you do you are on the hook. Contracts run 5 years, verbal agreements run 4. They are just trying to tag you into making a payment and if you do, then the clock begins to toll again.
