Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

20 year old defaulted fed student loan. Collection agency called CTI is telling me the Ed Dept will garnish in a week or I can work with them. Should I provide my AND my husbands financial information?

We have not received a tax refund in 15 years
